About Dry Needling
Pro Sports Therapy is proud to offer integrative dry needling as an adjunct treatment to traditional physical therapy. Integrative dry needling has been shown to be a highly effective treatment approach to help with a multitude of musculoskeletal and neuromuscular conditions. It can be used as a supplement in treating neck, back and shoulder pain, arm pain (tennis elbow, carpal tunnel, golfer's elbow), migraine and tension-type headaches, jaw pain, as well as buttock pain and leg pain (sciatica, hamstring strains, calf injuries.) It involves the use of a single-use, fine filament needle (similar to an acupuncture needle) that is inserted into various areas of the body to treat both localized and diffuse symptoms. We currently have a number of therapists that are trained in dry-needling techniques to help manage your current symptoms.
